And there are time when there's nothing you can do, but it just really fricken bothers me when people talk about it like it's something to brag about.

And thank you, Jekyll. Robert might be insane, M's possibly dead (not that I think he is), and Zeke might be stuck hiding out in the middle of nowhere, but that's illustrious company to keep.

Oh, and before I forget, I'm not really sure of why He hasn't subjected me to a performance review in person yet. It might be that we're doing our best to follow M's rules. It might be that I've worked to establish a conception of myself as unimportant and inconsequential amongst my colleagues and to Him. I don't really know. Maybe He's just messing with us by drawing it out.Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02766895049440504507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5185888578667575578.post-17917029091522070042011-02-26T02:06:42.484-08:002011-02-26T02:06:42.484-08:00I have no words for what I feel when I read that.

(sorry if this question has already come up and i've missed it, or it's off limits ._.)madamemizuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02702678931978159360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5185888578667575578.post-44388052949717773462011-02-25T22:05:06.964-08:002011-02-25T22:05:06.964-08:00...Oh my God....
I...I knew this. But it's s......Oh my God....

I...I knew this. But it's still hard reading this. God, I'm so glad that the ones I'm dealing with are mostly people that the Slender Man just uses once or twice. At least I'm seeing people that I recognize from around campus. I suppose he doesn't want to send his armies after someone who's staying in one place. People'd probably get suspicious.

But I digress. You, sir, have made me feel guilty. And I haven't even seriously hurt anyone.

This is why you're one of the few people I respect. I don't fully trust you. Hell, I don't fully trust myself. But fuck me if I don't respect you. Ironic that the guy who was working for the fucking Slender Man is one of the most morally upright people.

Congratulations, Andrew. You've joined M, Zeke, and Robert in the ranks of "Bloggers I actually respect." Along with maybe Maduin or one or two more. Pretty exclusive group.Hydehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07366564702663359039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5185888578667575578.post-16932341183534572692011-02-25T14:02:07.564-08:002011-02-25T14:02:07.564-08:00I suppose it's become something of a habit for...I suppose it's become something of a habit for all of us, as people, to rationalise away violent or otherwise unacceptable behaviour. From simple things such as speeding while driving ("I have to get to work, that makes it okay") to much more serious things such as this ("they would have killed me first, I had no choice").

But there generally is always that choice, isn't there? It all comes back to you in the end. You can choose to drive safely and spare the risk of an accident, and you can choose to spare somebody their life, no matter who they are or what they might do.

I suppose, in the end, it's not really my place to say; I've never been in a situation where I've encountered someone trying to do me serious harm, sane or otherwise. But it is something to think about.

As always, stay safe Andrew, and Ben too.

- RedRedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01460751414164163702noreply@blogger.com
